Unwind Outdoors Beach Camps Rishikesh – Facilities:

    • Each tent is spacious of 10ft x 8ft. Each tents comes with twin beds with quilts & foam mattress. Even in cold conditions you will be kept warm with the quilts. In the event of rain, twin fly ensures no water come in.
    • Each tent has 6 roll up sleeve windows, for proper ventilation.
    • There is  no electricity at the camp. Lanterns are provided during the night. The area falls in the reserve forest area and hence even generators are not allowed.
    • Dry pit western style toilets are there. These are eco friendly toilets since beach is part of the river bed and no flush toilets can be constructed. Cleanliness & hygiene is ensured.
    • Running water is provided in the bath for taking a shower. In winter months, hot water is also available through a traditional wood fired geyser
    • 1 closed dining, one open dining and one sitting area next to the Ganges.
    • Fully functional kitchen & elaborate buffet meals are laid out.
    • Special Wet suits are provided for rafting during winters

Camp Chillout is owned by Red Chilli Adventures. It is located at a dstance of 260 kilometres from Delhi via Meerut Bypass – Muzaffarnagar bypass – Roorkee – Haridwar – Rishikesh.  Camp Chillout lies 30 kms from Rishikesh on the road leading to Devprayag/Badrinath.  Pass the villages & bridges of Shivpuri & Gular, you reach little market of Byasi. Before entering the market, you will see a sign of “CAMP CHILLOUT”. Park your car there on the roadside and just follow the trail through the forest of teak wood. It will lead you to the edge from where you can see the river and camp. 5 minute downhill walk will get you to the camp on the beach.

One Day One Night Rafting Camping Package
DAY 01
 : Arrive at Camp Chillout for lunch. At arrival, camp briefing is done and then you are free to check into your tents. Lunch will be served at the dining area. Afternoon is free for Beach volleyball, Kayaking or to relax. There is also rock climbing and rappelling available in the camp. In the evening, campfire is set up and snacks are served which is later followed by dinner and overnight stay in Camp.
DAY 02
 : Tea/ coffee is served at dining area at 7:00 AM onwards. After breakfast, you are ready for rafting. You are provided all the rafting gear (life jacket, helmet and paddle), safety briefing by your guides and then we raft down the Ganga River. We raft down to Rishikesh which is 26km and go over rapids like “Three Blind Mice”, “Crossfire”, “Bodysurfing”, “Return to Sender”, “Roller Coaster”, “Golf Course” and lots more. Body surfing and cliff jumping is a part of the rafting package. We also provide you some snacks and soft drinks on the way. We end the trip near LaxmanJhula. Depart to Delhi/ onward destination.

Camp Highlands Rishikesh

Camp Highlands Rishikesh – managed by Great White Adventures, is located at one of the most exclusive sites on the banks of river Ganga, amidst the scenic beauty of a reserved forest area. Just 27 kms beyond Rishikesh and 15 kms beyond Shivpuri. Camp Highlands has a private beach and tents are pitched up on the sand overlooking the biggest rapid on the Ganges ‘the Wall’.

Apart from rafting activities camp has a lot to offer. Indulge in a game of beach volleyball, or just take a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges. Take a hike to a Garhwal village. Dine in the open overlooking the river, or stay awake late gazing at stars. Camp has its own rappelling site.

Camp Highlands Rishikesh is suited for individuals, corporate, family, school and angling groups. We have a large patch of land adjacent to the camp to conduct team building activities.

Note: We do not have electricity at the camp and hence no heating or refrigeration. Camp is about 400 meters from the road head, . Approach to the camp is a good 10 min walk through the thick forest cover in a hilly terrain (downhill on arrival, uphill on departure). Participants are expected to carry their belongings themselves; so travel lite.

We strictly adhere to eco-guidelines of no bright lights, no loud music, meal timings and no campfires during the summer season.

Location: Approx. 27 kms from Rishikesh, next to the biggest rapid on Ganga ‘The Wall’.

Activities at the camp

Rafting – There are many sections one can choose from between Kaudiyala to Rishikesh (total 32 kms). The whole section is of III+ grading. Typically we give rafting from Camp to Rishikesh (27 kms) that also including the Wall rapid.

You will be covering the following rapids in this section. The Wall, Sweet 16, Good morning, Black money, Little investment, Three Blind Mice, Crossfire, Bodysurf, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Tee off, Golf Course, Club house, Cash flow, Initiation, Bodysurf, Double Trouble

Trekking – Camp Highlands has access to short hikes in the Rajaji National Park.
