Hidden along the beautiful banks of the Ganga river, close to Rishikesh, we are the only camp with direct access to the river and complete in-house facilities for all kinds of outdoor activities.

Our camp is a 2 kilometre trek from the main road. Get off your vehicle, have a hot cup of tea in the local shop. In the mean time our guide will help load your bags onto the mule caravan. You can walk down into the valley at a leisurely pace, enjoying nature and the sound of the river. Even before you know it, you will be at the camp.

 Accommodation is in large comfortable tents with twin beds & basic furniture. The toilets are in a common area and are not attached to the tents. We kept everything simple. Soak in the beauty of the place with no urban clutter . CGR has a large open plan Dining Hall that also serves as a common space to sit around and enjoy company and indoor games.

We serve 3 complimentary meals a day, all in buffet style. Soup & Dessert are included. Bonfire snacks are complimentary. We also serve tea/coffee with biscuits twice a day. Veg and Non- Veg snacks & BBQ are available at an extra cost.

Very few activities can match the pure energy high of white water rafting.   Your rafting adventure begins right from our camp, going all the way to Rishikesh. We own and maintain our rafts, ensuring they are river-worthy at all times. Our rafting guides are highly trained and experienced. They know how to keep you safe. But we don’t stop there. Every raft is accompanied by a safety kayaker. In the unlikely event of an accident these highly skilled rescuers can bring you to safety.

Hike, Bike, Paddle in Rishikesh – Be prepared for the Real Camping experience with tents and cot beds, and a lovely forested neighbourhood. We call it forest living! Charming and totally addictive. A great way to spend a weekend with friends and family amidst the Lush Green Himalayan Mountains. Located on the Devprayag road, 30 kms upstream from Rishikesh (1.5 hr drive from Dehradun Airport or a 5-6 hr drive from Delhi) in the main Upper Ganga valley, it’s the best weekend getaway from city boredom and cabin fever, to the great outdoors with friends, family and children.

Accommodation at Camp:

Deluxe tents (beds, mattresses and quilts provided) on twin share. Each tent is furnished with 2 camp cots, a table, a table fan and two chairs. We have proper WC units and washing facilities at Camp Aquaterra. We also have seperate shower stalls for men and women. We can accommodate upto 60 persons at camp at any point in time. Note: We don’t accommodate drivers at camp. Drivers are requested to sleep in their cars and eating facilities can be availed 1.5 kms at Byasi.

Meal Plan: We are proud of the excellent cuisine served in camp with emphasis on wholesome, hygienic and delicious meals. Fresh fruits and vegetables are obtained locally

  • Breakfast – Continental & Indian: Corn flakes/porridge, eggs, toast/pancakes/french toast, paratha, butter, jam, baked beans/french fries,
    fruits, tea/coffee.
  • Lunch – Indian: Normally vegetarian consisting of Dal/Rajma, two vegetables, rice (fried/plain), chapati, papad, salad,& fruit
  • Dinner – A special meal with variations of Barbecue – Indian, Continental or Chinese cuisine complete with dessert.
    Note – Dinner is served from 8:30pm-9:30pm, keeping in mind our need to adhere to strict Forest Department guidelines. Dinner will not
    be available should you not serve yourselves before 9:30 pm.
  • Tea breaks – Tea/coffee and Tang with snacks/biscuits.

Besides rafting one could opt for hikes to a typical village near the camp or even go for longer hikes (5-6 hrs) in the surrounding hills. Our high ropes course at camp is a big attraction. A day in camp is rounded off with a campfire and a leisurely evening with fellow rafters.

Camp Rapidfire Rishikesh is a unit of Questrails Adventure Pvt. Ltd. Camp RapidFire is situated on the banks of the mighty river Ganga. However as it passes by the camp, it is still the playful, impetuous child of the mountains, not the mature and steady giant of the plains.

Camp RapidFire is a river beach camp. Which means it is situated on a large tract of white sand on the river banks. Which of course means you can spend the day sunning yourself on the beach and fall asleep listening to the melodious lullaby of the river. Of course this stretch of the river with its playful rapids and mischievous eddies is also one of the most popular white water rafting stretches in the country.

There is no electricity. We prefer it like that, and so do our clients. As the sun sets the kerosene lanterns dot the stretch of the camp, each one an island of warm cheer. Many of our clients prefer not to use even flashlights outside the tents. The stars, resplendent in their isolation from interfering city lights are usually bright enough to see by on a clear night.
